I was asked if I could just rent the hides as not everyone needs tuition, a lot of photographers, myself included sometimes just want a quiet location with plenty of opportunities to take photo’s so I have decided to rent the hides for £50 per person per day, this is to include all facilities at Miller’s wood, all 6 bird hides.
All six hides are set up for the bait and perch method, which gets the birds to land where you want them.
You can also bring your own props if you like, have you ever wanted to get a Robin landing on an old watering can, garden fork etc, its all down to your own imagination.
I will be on site to greet you and show you around and get you up and running, I will then leave you to it.
I will still be on site during your stay so if you need anything or advice just call or shout as I won’t be too far away.
To book the hides call me on 07557798948 or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what day suits you best.
The day is to run 9.00 am to 4 pm
Monday to Sunday in the summer & 9 am till 3 pm in the winter months starting December.
(No half days sorry) , with a maximum of 4 people to avoid disturbance.
Payment can be made in cash on the day, as I think this is easier for some people and I won’t have to refund you if you cannot make it for any reason.
Your camera gear, clothing (weather dependent), drink and packed lunch. (shops ten minutes away in Handcross village or cafe at High Beeches water gardens 5 mins).
It’s not muddy and you don’t have to walk far but boots or suitable shoes just in case.
Parking is right next to the wood and the main hide it about 50 meters away, reflection about 30 meters and Siskin hide & Morning hide around 60 meters.
Toilet facilities on site.
