This morning I spent a few hours on the reflection pool as I haven’t used it in a while.
The light wasn’t good and I used my 300ml lens, which to be honest, was a bit short on the small birds.
I was in portrait mode trying to get the reflections in, so big crops but I enjoyed it.
I made a new post from a lichen branch that I found under an oak tree and then cut and drilled it.
I then fixed a base to it and positioned it in the water, the woodpeckers took to it right away.
Here is a few from this morning.
Afterwoods I removed more trees that where blocking light to the area so should be a bit brighter in there from now on, especialy in the afternoon when we get side light in from the south.
