BLUEBELLS , VOLES AND A TAWNY OWL

After watering the new trees and plants ( 2 hours) I spent the morning trying to get some bird photos with bluebells in the background, I pre baited with with some seed and waited.
I managed a few shots but my neck was hurting and as I am to old for crawling around on the ground so switched my attention to a bank vole which kept coming out on one of the logs I use to feed the birds on, bit of a crop as I was using my 300ml but happy at my first attempt, I could hear the jays screeching in the wood, usually a sign they are taunting the owl and then I noticed the tawny owl sat out about 40 yds away, I managed about 10 foot closer when he took off and landed further in the wood so record shot it was.
