I have quite busy recently with guest photographers and with all the planting etc so decided I would have the camera out today as no one was booked in.
On Sunday I had Jackie and Graeme in the hides and from around 12.30 they had several visits from the Crossbill family, the male a beautiful bird stayed on show for around 20 minutes flitting between the 2 drinking pools and gave them loads of photo opportunities which if they send me some I will post.
Anyhow I waited for the Crossbills and 2 juveniles appeared around 1 ish, I could here the rest but I think they went down in the reflection pool, I managed a few shots of them as well as a few other birds nearby.

Woodpeckers on show all the time.

With a pair of Nuthatches constantly in and out, probably with young close by.
