On Thursday I did a one to one lesson with Sarah, a retired head of math teacher from Littlehampton.
From the start, we had rain and constant showers moving through so high iso used throughout.
Sarah was off to Costa Rica later in the year so it was good to practice using the higher than optimal settings as she would be photographing in the rain forests.
I was showing her how to use ETTR ( expose to the right) which helps keep noise to minimal by keeping the image bright so you get more data in the image file and you can then bring it back in post by reducing exposure a little.
Here are a few I shot during the lesson all at 3200 iso or above.
