This morning I spent time clearing the top south facing corner where I shall have my donated polytunnel.This morning I didn’t arrive until 10am as I had to MOT the wife’s car and with rain on its way I got stuck in.
You can see I have removed some trees already and need to clear the remaining stumps, which I did with my old chainsaw and shovel, its still not perfect as its still a bit uneven but will do for now.
Once I have the polytunnel erected I can then see where I need to level it, hopefully I might find a spot which needs little attention but time will tell.
I popped over to the new pond and surprised to see its is filling up nicely, I expected it to take all winter but at this rate probably the end of the month if it continues to rain as it has.
At 2 pm the drizzle turned to heavy rain and with the area cleared I called it a day, but hopefully you can see a difference.
