I spent the morning in the hide today with a young Jay making several visits, its parent are still very nervous but this is probably down to the farmer as they run pheasant shoots during the winter and take pot shots at them.
Still 4 young woodpeckers and loads of juvenile Robins coming to feed and loads of young Blue, Great and Coal tits around.
Really looking forward to colder weather to see how many birds come in to feed as there’s stacks already with plenty of natural food still nearby for them.
I took 120 shots today so please to get quite a few sharp and the background clear, all taken with 300mm full frame with some taken with the 1.4 converter on just to see how it would work as I haven’t used it in a long time.
