With the storm we had a few weeks ago taking down 5 of my larch trees I decided to make a new hide with the wood.
This will be my final hide as I now feel I have light in at least one of the hides throughout the day (this one gets the morning light) and in a woodland that cannot be too bad but I will have to wait for the trees to get there full canopy before I can see the out come.
Basic as ever, with chestnut posts sunk in the ground and clad in larch planks, the only man made items are the nails and plastic and a bit of paint I found to help it blend in.

Hide finished with inside lined to keep out the wind and make it dark inside and also added camo netting to screen me from the birds.
Also made 2 light weight benches for seating , job done.

Its been a while since my last post, times just gone but I hope to get more regular as the year progresses.
Around the wood the bluebells are looking lovely and wild flowers are starting to grow, just got to identify them, help.
I think this is red campion but will have to get my book out, if i am wrong please let me know.
