Nesting long Tailed tits
I have been closely monitoring a Long tailed tits nest over the last month and watched them bringing in lichen and spider webs, building it in a bramble bush, first time it had been somewhere where I could actually photograph them with a little patience.
Over the last 3 weeks, I trimmed daily, some obstacles and built a small one-man hide 5 meters away out of pallet wood and camo netting, whilst they were away mind.
The hide will be open to the public next week, as they are not
bothered by my lens, and even landed on it a few times.
If at anytime the birds are effected or aggitated we would leave alone.
Here are some from my last session.
Photographer may have a go if they wish, providing they know how to be discreet as these are still nesting birds. The allocated time per person depend on the number of people visiting that day who want try.
