With the breeding season well under way the woodpeckers are busily feeding their young, taking no prisioners as they fight for food.
This year most of my 20 odd nest boxes are in use with newly fledged Marsh tits new this morning joining the cast.
Also the Jays are now coming in but very easily spooked and the first Jackdaw I have seen coming in to investigate the food.
