My last booking for the owls on Friday night was with Lukas Adamec a talented photographer from London.
As he was on his own he had full use of the flash setup and as I mentioned before if two come it’s a matter of taking turns and I usually just advise and make sure they get some great shots. For a change, I tried to make the most of the available light from the Led and take a few shots, really challenging in the low light as I pushed the Nikon Z6 up to 20,000 iso at f4 and 200 sec.
Surprisingly the iso was manageable with a bit of software noise removal and sharpening but you can see quite a bit of motion blur in the wings. ( The flashes tent to freeze this)
Here are a few from my shoot, Lukas is posting some on my Friends who like Millers’ wood on Facebook later.
