Photographing in the rain, and new lens 13.1.2023
On Thursday I traded in my Nikon D5 as it wasn’t being used anymore and put the money towards a Z series lens.
After researching and watching a few reviews I settled on the 400 mm 4.5 which is incredibly light, and without the adapter seems lightning fast even in the rain and overcast sky I tried it in.
With a combination of high iso 4000+ and shutter speeds of 250 sec because of very little available light, I gave it a few hours in the hide and managed some nice shots, and can only imagine what it’s like in good light.
Here’s some from the session and all the photos on my website are 200 kilobytes or less to keep it moving fast so not looking too sharp on here but I think you get the idea.
