A few hours in the hides to photograph a selection of birds, first time I managed a female Blackcap which came in to drink.
Plenty of woodpeckers but still no young Jay’s, loads of young birds around including several young Robins with different plumages.
At two o’clock there was a frenzy of bathing activity which carried on after I had left at 4.
